What We Do
We create opportunities for rooted belonging through the following programs. For the most up-to-date ways to get involved, please visit our Linktree.

Gardening and Cultivation
Our Gardening & Cultivation Programs engage neighbors in hands-on ecological learning, connecting people to the land, fostering food justice, restoring habitat, and sharing abundance. Participants can get involved through community workdays in our gardens and Food Forest, where they learn about growing food and regenerative practices. The Garden Apprenticeship Program offers a focused opportunity for deeper learning and skill-building. Additional ways to engage include an herbal products shop, an annual plant sale, and a community WhatsApp group that connects gardeners and learners.

Arts & Community
We host immersive, arts-centered gatherings that foster connection across communities and perspectives through commissioned work, shared meals, and guided conversation. Our programs invite participants to experience art, engage with artists, and connect meaningfully with one another.

Our flagship program, Oddkin Unite, commissions local artists—including musicians, poets, photographers, visual artists, and dancers—to create original work around a shared theme. These works are experienced through curated community gatherings that include a shared meal and facilitated conversation with the artist and fellow participants.
Additional community- and arts-based programming includes seasonal and event-based artistic commissions and ecological art projects that connect the community with the Food Forest and other land-based initiatives.

Affordable Housing
Kinship Plot, in partnership with The Grove Church, is creating a community of affordable, ecologically integrated homes for people moving from housing instability toward long-term security. The development includes housing for residents, interns, and guests, along with a common building for shared learning, land-based kinship, and community gatherings.

Contemplative & Collaborative Learning
We offer collaborative and contemplative learning experiences where participants engage through small-group cohorts, workshops, and reflective offerings.
Recurring programs include the MLK Teach-In and Work Day, Milkweed & Monarch Project, Annual Winter Solstice Nature Walk, and the Ecological Discipleship Group (quarterly).

By-request offerings include guided forest walks, eco-somatic sessions, retreats, speaking engagements on a variety of themes, and thematic workshops. These experiences foster reflection, connection, and community rooted in belonging for your group.
